Anaphylaxis & Auto Injectors (Epi-Pens) (Benedict’s Law)

This session equips delegates with the knowledge to recognise & treat somebody who is suffering from Anaphylaxis / Anaphylactic Shock.

This course is ideal for settings looking to complete Anaphylaxis training to meet the requirements of Benedict’s Law coming into effect from September 2026. The way we run this session in-house will vary based on individual setting requirements, but can include:

  • Twilight Sessions after school for example 3:30pm – 17:00pm for up to 16 and then a second group of 16 17:00pm – 18:30pm  – £500 + VAT 32 delegates
  • Half day sessions with 2 groups running consecutively – for example 08:30am – 10:00am group 1 / 10:00am – 11:30am group 2 – £500 + VAT 32 delegates
  • Full day sessions with 5 groups running across the day – training up to 80 staff members £650 + VAT

Some of our customers only have a very small amount of time where they can get everyone together. For example, we are running a whole group 1.5 hour training session from 8:30am – 10:00am and then have the staff members coming in throughout the remainder of the day to complete the practical aspect of the training with the auto-injectors.

For settings looking to complete this training as part of Benedict's Law requirements we can offer:
Twilight - x 1 session after school up to 16 delegates
Twilight - x 2 sessions after school up to 32 delegates
Half Day - x 2 Sessions - up to 32 delegates
Full Day - x 5 Sessions - up to 80 delegates
Mixed - Whole group session followed by drop ins - up to 80 delegates

Are there any Group Costs

Our minimum charge is our half day rate of £450 + VAT this would be for 1 session, sometimes our customers look to run just one session and combine with another subject for example Asthma or Epilepsy.

In light of Benedict’s Law which is coming into effect from September 2026 we are working with schools to run 1.5 hour sessions over either a half day or full day in order to train a larger number of delegates. We are able to offer this training as a half day (2 x 1.5 hour sessions) with up to 32 delegates in total for £500 + VAT, or we can offer a full day (5 x 1.5 hour sessions) with a total of 80 delegates for £650 + VAT
