It can be tricky understanding which course is the best for your setting when it comes to first aid so we have put together the below video that gives some guidance on this – you can always get in touch on 01603 574079 and we will happily guide you through the courses and suggest which may be most appropriate for your setting.
First Aid at Work (3 Day or 2 Day Blended) – Ideal for larger or higher risk settings or alternatively some schools or smaller organisations / lower risk settings may decide to train the majority of their staff to a lower level and have a few dedicated “first aiders” who have this higher level qualification. We often find in schools PE Teachers, or the key First Aiders attend this course.
Emergency First Aid at Work (1 Day) – Our most popular all round first aid course – this course is ideal for setting that are low to medium risk, who may have some staff trained to the higher FAW level, but want other staff to have a good overall knowledge of a range of first aid situations.
Paediatric First Aid (2 Day or 1 Day Blended) – This course is ideal for those who work with children and infants. This is the course that Ofsted will require for those working in Early Years.
Emergency Paediatric First Aid (1 Day) – This course is ideal for those who work with children and infants but are not required to complete the full Paediatric First Aid course, or those who would just like to know how to provide first aid to children and infants.
Basic Life Support / First Aid Awareness (1/2 Day) – this course goes through the basics of what to do if you were to find somebody unresponsive, unresponsive and non breathing, or choking.
More information on each of these courses can be found on our website https://www.angliantraining.co.uk/ or get in touch on 01603 574079 and we will be happy to help.
