  • Updating knowledge of safeguarding legislation, guidance & local procedures
  • Refreshing knowledge and understanding of the principles of the Mental Capacity Act and DOLs

  • Communicating with service users to enable them to express desired outcomes
  • Contributing to and compliance with safeguarding plan
  • Understanding of  information sharing, consent & confidentiality rules
